Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Perfect Passports website at perfectpassports.com (the "Service") operated by Pivotal Labs, Inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Description of Service

Perfect Passports is an AI-powered service that helps users create U.S. passport-compliant photos from their own homes. Our Service is designed specifically for United States passport applications and includes:

• AI-assisted photo cropping to meet U.S. State Department passport photo requirements
• Automated background removal and replacement with compliant white background
• Photo enhancement while maintaining facial authenticity (no facial alteration)
• Secure photo storage linked to user accounts
• Download capabilities for printing at photo service locations within the United States

User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

To use our Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Geographic Limitation

Our Service is available only to users located within the United States. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

Payment Terms

Pay-Per-Use Model

Our Service operates on a pay-per-use basis. Fees are clearly displayed before each transaction and must be paid before photo processing begins.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. We do not store your complete payment information on our servers.

Refunds

Refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases where:

• Technical issues prevent successful photo processing
• Service failures occur that are directly attributable to our platform
• Requests are made within 24 hours of purchase for unprocessed orders

Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify our pricing structure with 30 days' advance notice to existing users.

Photo Processing and AI Technology

AI Processing Disclaimer

While our AI technology is designed to help create U.S. passport-compliant photos that meet State Department requirements, we cannot guarantee that all processed photos will be accepted by the U.S. State Department, passport agencies, or other official entities. Final acceptance is at the discretion of the relevant U.S. authorities.

U.S. Passport Photo Standards

Our Service is designed to meet current U.S. State Department passport photo requirements, including but not limited to:

• 2x2 inch dimensions when printed
• White or off-white background
• Full face view with neutral expression
• Appropriate lighting and contrast
• No shadows on face or background

No Facial Alteration

Our Service enhances photo quality while maintaining facial authenticity. We do not alter facial features, skin tone, or other identifying characteristics to ensure compliance with U.S. State Department regulations.

User Responsibilities

Users must:

• Provide clear, well-lit original photos
• Ensure they meet basic U.S. passport photo requirements (facing forward, neutral expression, etc.)
• Verify final compliance with current U.S. State Department passport photo requirements
• Understand that our Service creates digital photos suitable for printing to standard 2x2 inch U.S. passport photo specifications

Photo Storage and Data Management

Photo Storage

We securely store your processed photos in your account for easy access and download. Photos remain accessible as long as your account is active.

Storage Duration

Photos are stored indefinitely while your account remains active. Upon account deletion, photos will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Download Rights

You may download your photos at any time from your account dashboard. Downloads are unlimited for photos you have purchased.

Printing Recommendations

While we provide photos suitable for printing to U.S. passport photo specifications (2x2 inches), we recommend using professional photo printing services within the United States that specialize in passport photos to ensure optimal quality and compliance with State Department requirements.

User Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of all photos you upload to our Service. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and enhance your photos solely for the purpose of providing our Service.

Our Content

The Service, including its design, functionality, AI algorithms, and related technology, is owned by Pivotal Labs, Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Prohibited Content

You may not upload photos that:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on third-party rights
• Contain inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Are not genuine photographs of yourself or authorized subjects

Privacy and Data Protection

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pivotal Labs, Inc. regarding the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time.
